Mark Sanchez Santos, who uses the preferred name Xolo (S(c)ho•lo) is a Queer/Trans person of Yaqui, Choctaw, and Mexican descent. They have been in documentary filmmaking and production for over 6 years.

Over these years, they have worked within state and community productions documenting grass roots movements, emerging artist, and mutual aid events.

They have a deep interest in working with land tenders, culture bearers, and storytellers who are rewriting narratives that will uplift and carry generations to come.
